Get ready for Easter!

White Chocolate Easter Bark

To make this White Chocolate Easter Bark, you’ll need 8 ounces white baking chocolate, some colorful candy melts, some Spring M&M’s, and some fun Easter sprinkles. For this bark you can also add Oreo’s!

Here are the ingredients you will need –

You will need a cookie sheet and line it with wax paper, then set it aside for now.  Then divide your chocolate into separate microwave-safe bowls.  For brighter colors that I wanted to turn more pastel (like the pink was pretty bright, I remember), I added a few of the Wilton white candy melts.  Then you just put each bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted.  Set it aside and repeat for each bowl.

When all of the chocolate is melted, pour your plain white baking chocolate onto the prepped cookie sheet and spread evenly with a spatula. Next spoon each of the melted colorful candy melts on top of the white chocolate.  DON’T spread it or drizzle it or try to make it look marbled yet.  Just spoon it in blobs on top of the white chocolate.

When all of your chocolate and candy melts are on the cookie sheet.  Grab a butter knife and swirl it up and down, side to side, diagonally, or however else to get the marbled look.  Stop swirling when you get the look you want (and make sure it’s before you have a big blog of gray or brown goo if it gets mixed all together…)

Last step! Go crazy with the M&M’s and sprinkles! If you want to add Oreo’s you will just crush some in a separate bowl and add them when adding the sprinkles and M&M’s. You actually want more on there than you think because once you break the bark, each piece will look a little sparse, even it look over-decorated when it was whole. Let the White Chocolate Easter Bark set for at least an hour, until hardened.  You can speed up this process by placing it in the refrigerator or freezer.  Then break your bark into pieces and enjoy! Store in an airtight container or baggy.
